Job Summary

Responsible for providing analytical, budget, process, and systems support for work unit. Works independently and identies appropriate courses of action to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and administer programs. Manages or coordinates various administrative programs. Performs analysis, research, and studies and prepares various reports. Assist in the research, development and design of sharing methods (pushing and pulling of information).

Key Accountabilities

  • Develops project plans, identifies resources, and ensures tasks are performed to meet deadlines.

  • Independently identifies and resolves problems.

  • Plans and leads major projects, conducts meetings, and informally leads other employees.

  • Performs investigations and highly complex analyses, utilizing operating system tools for - statistical, trend, root cause, etc.

  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves problems with reporting systems and processes.

  • Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to management.

  • Coordinates benchmarking events and sharing outside of the company along with, gathers, validates, and analyzes benchmarking data.

  • Acts as IT and Finance support for department.

  • Creates crystal reports and provide system maintenance.

  • Corrects reports and data on own initiative and as needed.

  • Works as a team member and utilizes team building skills on multiple teams. Supports multiple internal clients.

  • Provides assistance and participates in formal and informal presentations.

  • Provides planning and time estimates for own assignments.

  • Works under general supervision and is self-directed.


Education, Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Related work experience is preferred, ideally at least 2 years.

  • Certifications/Licenses: Must successfully complete operating system training within six months of selection. Maybe be required to gain additional certifications to accomplish work and utilize key systems.

  • Experience with project planning and implementation is preferred.

  • Experienced in continuous improvement project implementation is preferred.

  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving, planning and decision- making skills.

  • Demonstrated perseverance and a risk taker.

  • Multi-task oriented. Ability to be flexible and work under changing priorities.

  • Demonstrated consulting skills with the ability to interface, influence and build cohesive business relationships with all levels of the organizations

  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Experience using various operating system tools.

  • Advanced proficiency in the following applications: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation development and flow chart software, crystal reports.

  • Experience with various social media platforms and ability to utilize these methods to share information.

  • Working knowledge of the various DTE systems.
